new house plan: coastal retreat master bedroom

The last two days have been an absolute whirlwind and all I can say is I’m tired!!! Let’s start with the plane ride – why do they allow lap infants up to age 2? My fifteen month old had absolutely NO interest in sitting on my lap…It was pretty much the worst 3 hours I’ve ever spent on a plane. But I digress…other than that we’re just unpacking and getting organized, and sneaking away to enjoy the beautiful weather 🙂 It’s frustrating to not have the house looking how I want it to yet, but am trying to remind myself that it’s a process, it’s going to take time, and this is the fun part! Oh and that I need more patience…

So anyway, I still haven’t had a chance to take full house tour photos (hopefully coming tomorrow), so I decided sharing my master bedroom plan was a good option for today.

Here is the actual bedroom as it was when we saw the house originally. I immediately saw past the decor and new this room had a ton of potential!

I love the paint I chose and our bed looks great in the room. Waiting on our new Restoration Hardware bedding and have lots of other goodies to order to bring this all together. I’m hoping to have it all finished in about a month, so stay tuned!
